Wake Forest is a northern suburb of Raleigh, in Wake County. One of the first things newcomers learn about Wake Forest is that it is no longer home to Wake Forest University, which moved to Winston-Salem in the 1950’s. However, the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Southeastern College call Wake Forest home today.

The town features an officially-registered historic district in addition to the picturesque and easily accessible college campus.
